Ingredients

  • 1 cup sprouted garbonzo beans

Equipment

  • stove
  • heavy saucepan

Instructions

  1. Soak beans in water for 24 hours.
  2. Drain and rinse.
  3. In a heavy saucepan, bring 3½ cups water to a boil.
  4. Add 1 cup soaked beans.
  5. Season to taste.
  6. Return to a boil.
  7. Cover and reduce heat to low.
  8. Cook 3-5 hours until beans are tender.
