Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Ingredients
- 2 sticks unsalted butter (room temperature)
- 1 cup packed dark brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- ¾ tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 4 cups semisweet chocolate chunks

Instructions
- Cream butter until fluffy.
- Add the sugars.
- Beat until light and fluffy.
- In another bowl, mix flour, salt and baking soda.
- Add to the butter/sugar at low speed until just combined.
- Add vanilla extract.
- Beat on medium, until blended. Do not overmix.
- Add chocolate chunks.
- Refrigerate until cold.
- Preheat to 350°.
- Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Drop heaping spoonfuls of batter onto parchment paper
- Bake until golden brown around edges and soft but not bubbly, about 12 minutes.
Makes 36 - 72 cookies.
